Caring for Carers Clare together with the national umbrella organisation of Caring for Carers Ireland is actively involved in supporting Family Carers through liaison with state and voluntary bodies involved in community care.

The Carer's Centre in Carmody Street, Ennis provides support and advice to family carers.

At the centre in Carmody Street the nurse led carers clinic provides confidential listening, advice and support

This is based at the Carers Centre and provides confidential information, advice and support. The Clinic Staff also provide referrals to our other services and also to statutory and voluntary agencies. For appointment please contact 065-6866515. Home visits can be arranged.

Home Care Package
Caring for Carers Clare administer the HSE Home Care Package Scheme, which provides personal care & support in the home to those who qualify for it.

Carer Support Service
This Pilot Scheme which is operating in Co Clare provides support to the Family Carer. Carers who qualify receive two hours Respite weekly and referral is through the Carers Clinic.
