Our Purpose:

Established and situated in Ennis town centre by Mike Varden, the Guitar and Rock School, Ennis is dedicated exclusively to the teaching and performance of modern contemporary music styles on a range of instruments such as Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drums and Saxophone.

Our Aims:

• To promote and facilitate the playing of these styles amongst young people through the establishment of bands and the provision of rehearsal space.
• To provide a structured and comprehensive method of studying music which is relevant to the practical musical needs of the modern day musician .
• To provide lessons tailored to match the needs and playing level of the individual and above all to make the learning experience interesting and enjoyable.
• To offer opportunities and set proper standards for students of modern music to play musically and fluently via the command of relevant technical skills and knowledge of the instrument.
• To offer students the option to sit exams and thereby receive a formal recognition of their talents and musical skills via the award of an internationally recognised qualification from the London College of Music.

The Ennis Guitar School opened in 2003 in Ennis, Co. Clare, initially concentrating on guitar tuition.

Due to growing demand the music school now offers lessons in Bass, Piano, Keyboards, Drums and Saxophone.
