Want a challenge? Entries are now been taken for the Annual Clifden Lifeboat 10k road race, which will be take place on Sunday 12th September, in Clifden Co Galway at 2pm.
The race is open to everyone with categories to suit all levels of fitness, and runners, walkers and teams are all welcome. The route which will take you up the sky road has been billed as one of the most scenic areas in Connemara on a clear day. AAI permit has been applied for and chip timing will ensure accurate time.
Participants will be able to enter on the day from 12.30pm in Griffins Bar, main street, Clifden or enter online at www.runireland.com. entry fee €10 individuals €25 teams
